Leaving Suva

Today we were in the capital of Fiji, Suva. But the problem was that everything on the island is closed on Sundays. So, visitors are very limited in what they can do. A lot go to the beach (even though the closest beach was a 45-minute drive) and a large group from the ship went to a private island for a cultural show. So many people signed up to go that a tour operator convinced some locals to work.

We decided to just walk around. It was interesting to see all the different building styles, which were mainly related to government. We also stopped at the Thurston Gardens.
