Edessa's waterfall was spectacular and very loud.

Glli and her trees ???

Gevgelija's name was more interesting than the town itself ..... but then...

we treasured our special 'security' passes while in town.

After a troubling start our accomodation turned out brilliantly and our host was extremely helpful and friendly. We rested well.

Security did feel tight especially when we were presented with 'personal' security cards to carry while in the town which were strictly for the period of our stay.

Our host even had to advise the police which border crossing we had used.

It was sad to witness these necessities but thankful for the security.

Next stop was Skopje, Macedonia's capital where we anticipated learning more about this fascinating country.
