Santa Fe Heading To The Plaza

Side Street in Santa Fe

RV Site in Santa Fe

Having dinner at Maria's Mexican Kitchen

We arrived in Santa Fe, NM yesterday. This rv park, Santa Fe Skies RV Park, is very nice and overlooks the mountains and adobe housing. It has a walking trail of about a mile that circles the park. We took a walk after settling in, but found that because of the elevation of over 7000 ft, it was a challenge. Still the weather is perfect, in fact, this morning it was chilly enough to use the fireplace. Later in the day, a clear blue sky, and a temperature of around 84 was great for driving into Santa Fe to walk around and explore galleries, a great burger stop, and vendors on the street selling their jewelry.

We decided to try out the Mexican food in the evening and ended up at a restaurant that boasted to be the best of Santa Fe, Maria's Mexican Kitchen. You know it's so funny that you expect authentic Mexican food to be so much better than Tex-Mex, but for me it is not!!! It's just a matter of taste. We still enjoyed the atmosphere.

This is our second trip to Santa Fe and again we are finding this visit to be as enjoyable as the first. Tomorrow we may try golfing!!
