Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Friends Steve & Jackie were leaving today so we were up sharing our coffee while keeping an eye on their RV for any sign of activity. When we noticed Steve moving around outdoors, Marilyn & I walked over to share hugs and wish them safe travel. By the time our friends left the campground I was already at work.

My first tour was a class of fourth grade students from Illinois and they were pretty good and enjoyed the tour. I had a break of about 45 minutes before my next tour began. The second tour was for 19 ticket holders including folks from Arizona, Florida, and Iowa. An Amish family included five children and they were great! That has to rank right up there among the most enjoyable tours for me.

It was nearly 2:00 PM by the time I returned home. Marilyn & I sat together talking for a while and then decided to order a pizza. We drove to Casey’s, picked up our freshly baked pizza, and returned home to enjoy that tasty delicacy.

Jennifer gave us a “heads up” about a news crew at the school today so we watched the news and sure enough, there was our daughter being interviewed. She sounded very professional and was impressive for sure. We are proud of her.

Now it is time to relax. PJs are the order of the day and we will find something to watch on TV or read from our books. Life is Good!
