It was a relaxing morning, after which we drove out to the South Llano River State Park and birded – what a treat. We only visited 2 bird blinds, but they were very productive. We got hungry around noon, so came home and had our wonderful left-over BBQ from last night.

Well-fortified, we wanted to explore, so drove out to the water treatment plant, where several interesting birds had been reported We found some neat birds in good numbers, stopping at Schreiner Park on both side of the river on the way home.

Dinner was a green salad, rib-eye on the grill and baked sweet/white potato, followed by a walk around the park. It has been a beautiful day.
