Following that busy day yesterday it would have been nice to sleep in this morning but that wasn’t in the cards. Richard and his crew were coming to wash & wax the RV at 8:00 so we had to be up fairly early.
Marilyn & I shared our coffee and then started on the day. I moved the truck and the car to the open site next door in an effort to keep water off the vehicles. Marilyn & I worked indoors while the workers were here and then worked outdoors to get the plants in a favorable spot so we could attach the irrigation lines to keep the plants alive over the long hot summer.
We finished a few details outdoors and returned inside to the comfort of the A/C on this day when the temperature outdoors reached 99 degrees. There were widespread reports of temperatures over 100 but we only showed 99. I will personally vouch for the fact that it was HOT.
Once we had lunch and cooled off we took a walk over to the clubhouse and back. A bit later we returned to the clubhouse and the mailboxes to pick up a new Blood Pressure Cuff we had ordered.
I did get back outdoors to program the GPS for our trip to Kerrville on Sunday. Now we have mainly the “Air & Lube” chores to complete. Jim will be here tomorrow to help me with that as well as taking the DISH antenna off the roof. He also promised to turn in the Wi-Fi Modem for me.
We are going out for lunch with Chuck & Coletta and Mike & Marian tomorrow but we’ll be ready to go on Sunday morning. Life is Good!
