Palm Sunday in Santa Fe

We did not spend a lot of time in Albuquerque, most of it spent in Santa Fe. We had a nice dinner at one of Albuquerque’s brew pubs, Nexus. It was a very trendy place with great food and a good selection of craft beers.

The next morning we drove up to Santa Fe for a day of sightseeing and shopping. OMG the shopping! I lost count of the shops we went in and sidewalk vendors we browsed. Thankfully it was more browsing than buying!!

We were lucky enough to get there in time to see a beautiful and moving procession for Palm Sunday. They were making their way to the St Francis Cathedral.

After returning to Albuquerque, we freshened up and drove to the Nob Hill area. The university of New Mexico is located there and a cool section of that road I keep talking about is there. We found a nice neon bar for drinks and appetizers then called it a night. We had a very busy schedule for our trip to Flagstaff. Stops planned for the Petrified Forest and Painted Dessert, the corner in Winslow,AZ and Meteor Crater park.

Stay tuned.
