We slept in this morning and then ate breakfast around 9:00. Marilyn made a shopping list and we headed off to the HEB grocery store. Now fully stocked up, we drove back home and put the groceries away.
Marilyn went outdoors to read her book while I set up my printer to print out a short story I wrote some years ago. I plan to share it with the Retama Readers Club next Tuesday when I speak to that group. As I attempted to print out that story I realized that my printer was out of ink. I used the computer to order a new ink cartridge from Amazon.com
It should be here next Monday which is just in time for the Tuesday event.
We plan to begin shutting down the Coach-house for the summer by shutting off the water supply and draining the water heater tomorrow. Then I’ll use the checklist to finish up by April 1st. That will give me two weeks to get the truck, car, and RV all ready to go. We have a plan to leave here on April 15th.
We will meet friends, Jesse & Ginger, in Kerrville and spend a few days catching up before we move on. We will have some work done on the RV at our favorite RV Dealer, Rolling Retreats in Elk City, Oklahoma. Slade & Alicia Tennery are the finest people to do business with anywhere in the country.
When we leave Elk City we plan to make it all the way to Topeka where we will spend two nights resting and visiting friends before arriving in Hannibal on April 28th. Life is Good!
