If the weather forecast for today was going to be correct it promised us a very warm day with a temperature reaching 90 degrees. We needed to get outdoors while it was still comfortable so we took our coffee outdoors early this morning.
It was so nice outdoors and we enjoyed the palm trees rustling in the gentle breeze as we watched people walking by, some waving good morning to us. Finally, with the coffee finished off we decided to get our walks completed before it became too hot out there. Once we returned to the RV we closed the door and windows and turned the AC to ON.
I had planned to clean and organize the basement storage area today but it was just too hot, and besides, the NCAA tournament was on TV. Guess what I chose. Yep, I watched TV from the comfort of my recliner.
Marilyn did several loads of laundry and then sat outdoors in the shade while she started reading another book. Speaking of books, I have been asked to speak to the Retama Village Readers Club on March 27th. I look forward to that and will have all of my books there. By the way, my book sales have passed 300 copies which is certainly not “Best Seller” territory but pretty good for an old country boy. I am happy and thankful to all of you who took a chance on an unknown author and then enjoyed my books.
No doubt about it, Life is Good!
