A day driving on lovely country roads in Thailand. We visited three temples (Wats) on the way. The roads were largely quiet and through hills. The first Wat was a wedding cake variety and was crowded as it was a religious festival. The others were very quiet and beautiful. There were other temples in Nan which we enjoyed too but the museum had just closed. Our hotel was outside town

Lee’s gear stick had ‘come off in his hand’, luckily near the end of the day. He and Paul did temporary repairs and it was welded locally in the morning.
