2-17-18 Road Trip! Glen Haven to Pueblo, CO

Left the cabin in Glen Haven around 10AM. We were up and watching the last of a TV series called “Broadchurch” at 7:30AM. We wanted to finish the series with Kate before leaving on the road trip. We had been “binge watching” this series over the last few days. Kate has a lot of stamina when it comes to binge watching.

We were on the road by 10:30AM. It was low forties and windy in Estes Park, but a clear nice day for driving. We made it to Colorado Springs shortly after 1:00PM and had lunch with Julie’s aunt LaRue.

We were back on the road by 3PM and in Pueblo shortly after 4PM. A short driving day but we were tired. We took a short break then went to dinner at a local Country Kitchen then were back to our hotel room to attempt to stay awake as long as possible. We watched the movie “Hidden Figures” which did the trick. Finally hit the hay at a little past 9PM.

Covered 189 miles in about four hours actual driving time. The pace is Julie approved.
