Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

It’s great to see the normal warm temperatures return to the RGV. Marilyn & I sat with our coffee and then I fixed breakfast. I took a banana and broke it up into a bowl, then added two eggs, a liberal sprinkle of cinnamon, and a teaspoon of vanilla. I mixed this thoroughly to make a batter for pancakes. They were thinner than normal, more like a crepe, but delicious and very healthy.

After breakfast we took a walk and then, as soon as I returned to the RV, I drove off to get a haircut. I had to wait for 30 minutes for the barber to come in to work but ended up with a good haircut and returned home where I took a shower and dressed for Mass.

Marilyn & I went to Mass because today was Ash Wednesday. When Mass was over we drove to the store to pick up a couple of items.

The fun event of the day began when we picked up John & Lori and drove to the “492 BBQ” where Bob was celebrating his Birthday. Denny & Jackie, Mike & Marian, Bob & Janet, Eddie & Jan, John & Lori, and Marilyn & I made up the group of happy fun loving friends. There was a lot of laughter and a good time was had by all.

Now we are home for the evening. Life is Good!
