We had booked a tour to Port Arthur, but the guide had an accident and the tour was cancelled. Instead we booked a tour to see the Bomorong Animal Refuge. I loved it!!! Got to see gray kangaroos, wombat, kookaburra, koalas, wallaby, tasmanian devil (Taz on Disney 1934!), we loved it!!! I am so glad we got to see the animals close up in the sanctuary.

In the afternoon we had fish and chips from a food "boat" as in food truck. It was delicious but we wanted ketchup for our French fried chips. It cost two dollars for ketchup. So forget it.

We went to the Museum of Natural History, where we saw the Tasmanian Tiger, thylacine. It is now extinct. This amazing animal was actually a marisupial and carried up to four babies in its pouch!

Then we visited Salamanca Square, fun shops and art galleries. We enjoyed the art and a drink at a local bar outside our hotel on the warerfront.

We had dinner again at the admiral and had a fisherman's platter... yum. We looked at art at the hotel, paid our bill, and headed to our room. 6:00 am pickup for the airport fot tomorrow!
