Over the Glacier

Best yet hopefully more to come

Cura cura

Following the glacier trip, we have an opportunity to walk around the South and North face of the glacier which we take with relish. After watching, looking and hearing the grauncing, grinding, cracking and the occasional calving and crashing of the ice, we saw our first condone. At this particular time the rain and sleet closed in being driven by a fierce wind from up the glacier some 50km's at its peak in Chile or should I say bloody chilly.

So I tried to capture these large graceful birds dominating the skies with such ease and skill. We were mesmerised, it's all like National Geographic Patagonia Exhibition taking place but right in front of your eyes. I had hoped we would see some but it would be miles away. To be fair once they get airborne they are miles away but catch them at take off or just after and the photographs will be good.

We sit here at 19:30 with the weather closing in, just going for another three courses of gastronomic experience to die for with wine from Mendoza. I think we have fallen in love with Argentina, the lands, the people and the wildlife.

Tomorrow we travel south to Ushuaia, the furthest South of Argentina to Terra Del Fuego The end of the World.

Hopefully you are enjoying the log and if you have any questions or answers p,ease use the email on the log and we will respond. We hope that we have both Power and Wifi as we must be reaching the communications limit shortly.

All the best Bob (scriptwriter) and Akison (Boss)
