The full-time RV life is a wonderful way to live, partly because we have the freedom to choose where we live, and to move around as we wish as a way to experience the type of weather we enjoy. That is why we choose to be in the Rio Grande Valley during the winter season.
This morning we woke to discover an outdoor temperature in the 30’s and then, to top it off, as we sat sharing our morning coffee, it began to snow outdoors. It was beautiful to watch but was much too cold to spend time outdoors. I guess it was Mother Nature’s way of toying with us and showing us that we are not in charge. LOL
Marilyn & I enjoyed a very relaxing day together without getting away from our property. Marilyn fixed a fine breakfast of bacon & eggs with toast and another cup of coffee. After this start to our day I helped around the RV by making the bed and straightening things up around here while Marilyn did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen.
Just like in our previous life, she finished cleaning things just in time to fix a late lunch of chicken ala king served atop freshly baked biscuits. There was enough left over for a lite dinner while we watched some TV.
I had planned to drive over to the Walmart to pick up a prescription but decided to wait until tomorrow and drive there in the sunshine.
So it was just a normal, quiet day in the RV life, a day when the palm trees were snowed on. Oh well, Life is Good!
