We sure needed a good night of sleep and that is what we had, actually nearly ten hours total. Wow!
We took our time with coffee this morning and finished it off with the fireplace on for ambiance. The rain and chilly, damp weather made it a perfect day for soup so we finally had things in the RV straightened up enough to drive off to the store for much needed groceries.
It was chicken pot pies for lunch and oyster stew for dinner. We stayed pretty lazy all day, actually dozing a bit in our recliners. I worked on the journal trying to catch up on entries I missed while we were on our trip up north.
It sure is good to be home in the valley, even though we stored up wonderful memories and have to say “Thanks” once again to our daughter and son-in-law for their hospitality and to John & Julie for their friendship and kindness. Oh, once I start on this train of thought, I keep thinking of people to say Thanks to. Mike & Marian, Bob & Janet, Denny & Jackie, Eddie & Jan, and all who have touched our lives with your own kindness, have blessed us.
This RV life continues to be a great way to live and allows us to say with conviction that Life is Good!
