Halls Falls

Seats outside cafe overlooking lush green countryside

Part of Columba Falls

Columba Falls

Today was waterfall day for all of us. Drove west from St Helens, first stop was Halls Falls. A nice walk amongst the forest down to the Falls. The walk back up a little more challenging.

Then on to Pyengana Cheese Factory and cafe. Where we had a bowl of Pea and Ham soup for early lunch.

We had seen a story on Landline where the cows are milked by robots, the cows wander up to be milked when they feel the need, then will return 6 hours later to be milked again. This is the farm where this happens. Very interesting. Once again we are in lush green country, with very contented cows.

On to St Columba Falls, these were beautiful, the photo doesn’t do them justice. A massive high rock face with water pouring over and around hugh rocks. A lovely day for all. David’s tooth is healing well.

Love Dawn
