We were pleasantly surprised to see that the rain of the night before had stopped. It is so much nicer to get ready for travel without being rained on. Hookup was surprisingly easy, and we were away a bit ahead of schedule. Good thing since we drove longer than usual and the GPS led us on some narrow and winding roads. We knew there was no easy way to get from point A to point B but this was ridiculous. Fortunately, the roads were in pretty good shape, mostly, and we did arrive safely.
Although listed as an RV resort, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was more like a national forest campground, with large sites and lots of trees. After a quick setup, we stayed in for the rest of the day, with a high of 36. Brrrr...!
