Carving at Geeveston

Our walk

Huon River

Air Walk

Cantilever at end of Air Walk

We had showers most of the night, then woke to heavy cloud.

David went to the dentist this morning, however this is a two dentist practice and one of them is on holidays, so couldn't get in. He went to a Doctor instead and was given antibiotics for infected tooth, will go to dentist for check after antibiotics finished.

David and Ann drove off first to go to the Tahune Air Walk, my washing held us up a bit. Then we followed.

Had a quick look at Geeveston, what a shame the craft shop didn't open until 10.30am. Interesting sculptures around the Information Centre. Some very talented people carved these out of tree trunks.

David and Ann did the Air Walk, which they enjoyed. Noel and I did the walk on the ground, although we had to cross two rivers, the Picton and the Huon, on swinging bridges. The first one was not a great experience as it was swinging a bit too much, but the second one was a bit tighter so didn't get the woozy feeling on that one. A good walk through the forest. We had about 15 minutes of showers then the sun shone.

All had lunch, then David and Ann decided they would like to ride the " Zip Line ", afraid Noel and I are not that adventurous. So off they went. Yes David was on nurofen power. They were strapped into a capsule and zipped across the river and back. The operator gave them two goes each which they really enjoyed.

Another good day had.

Love Dawn
