Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

With only one day of radiation therapy treatments remaining, I should be dancing with joy. However, the cold I have, with a nasty constant coughing, is keeping things real for me. Our friend Steve came to my rescue today helping me to complete the one big chore remaining. That is to air the truck & RV tires. He did the work as I supervised and then we sat together as I served him a cold beer from the fridge in the basement storage area.

I am simply weak and feeble and this is no fun. I am aggravated at the situation but continue to be positive and grateful for friends who always seem ready to help one another.

Marilyn fixed a nice batch of sweet pepper skillet stew which tasted really great. I think we’ll settle down, watch some TV, and then get a good night of sleep.

Tomorrow will be my final day for radiation and I will be happy when that is over.

I’m sure I’ll have a big grin on my face when I leave the Cancer Center tomorrow.

Life is Good!
