Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

After the radiation session this morning I now have only seven to go. I had to hurry off to Palmyra once I finished at the Cancer Center, and was soon finished with my appointment at the Chiropractor.

Back at the RV I had time for a quick bite of lunch before driving up to the Gift Shop to lead a tour of Mark Twain Cave for a group of seventh grade students from here in Hannibal. I was delighted to see one of our family members who now works at the Middle School. The tour went really well and we all had a nice time.

I relaxed a little, enjoying some quiet time with Marilyn. I have felt really good all day today and am beginning to think that I am almost back to normal.

Jennifer called to let us know that she and the grandkids were coming in to visit after school.

Of course Colby arrived with his football in hand so we played catch and a few other football games he devised on the spur of the moment.

Once our company headed home, Marilyn & I decided to go get a pizza for dinner.

We were stuffed by the time “Survivor” started on the TV, so we quickly changed into our comfy clothes and settled in for the evening.

In the back of my mind is the fact that we will soon be on the road again and then I’ll have that old familiar feeling of Joy which comes with living the full-time RV life.

Life is Good!
