10/8-10/10 Kodacrome Basin State Park. Utah

More red rocks, this time over 70 towering sandstone chimneys reaching as high as 170 ft. The color and contract in this region is spellbinding. Today it was a Tiffany blue sky, rust red rocks and bright ponderosa pines. An artist couldn't have painted it any more beautiful. It was cold. 21 last night and 40s in the day so we called it a car tour day and we put 100 miles on the car enjoying the sunshine and the unbelievable views.
