We enjoyed delightful worship, then brunch at Bubbas, where I enjoyed the Hunter’s Benedict, a favorite with elk medallions. It was excellent.

As there was some sunshine, we decided to take a ride, and headed south through the Snake River Canyon. The leaves were beautiful, and the patches of sun highlighted aspens, maples and fire bushes. The same was true along Palisades. We stopped at the campground, which is a forest service campground. Electric sites are available, but water is only for a fill. A dump station is available.

Coming over the passes, all was covered with snow – the trees just frosted. It was a beautiful drive! We stopped at K-mart on the way home to get new wiper blades – but when we got home, we found that there was only one blade in the package – they are only sold singly. No wonder the price had been marked down – not really the best way to go!

At home we enjoyed being indoors by the fire while the snow fell. Dinner was Shepherd’s Pie. A lovely day.
