Jackson Hole during Eclipse

Yellowstone

It's good be home and back in a routine but we're always looking toward the next adventure. This trip encompassed 6870 miles over 39 days. Thank goodness Tom enjoys driving and was behind the wheel for all those miles. Luckily we didn't have any mechanical issues with the RV. We averaged 14.5 mpg with a low of 12.49 mpg & high of 17 mpg. The cheapest gas was $1.99 at Effingham, IL, the highest $3.09 in Moran, WY. In Colorado, Utah & Wyoming "Regular Gas" is E85 Octane. We had to purchase "Mid-Grade Gas" to get 87 Octane.

Some of our favorite memories:

TOM: WACO plane ride, Eclipse in Jackson Hole, Yellowstone Geysers, Bryce Canyon, Rockies baseball game, Corn Palace, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Cody, WY, Bear in the tree (Yellowstone), Mesa Verde.

CHARLENE: Eclipse in Jackson Hole, Mesa Verde, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Yellowstone, Arches NP, Cody, Moab, Silverton, Monument Valley, Canyonland NP, Colorado Springs (seeing Peggy!),
