Bill and Mary Ann's truck camper retirement travel blog

We decided we are about traveled out so we are starting to head home. We left Muley point and drove down the Moki Dugway road which is always exciting. It's a 10 percent 5 mile grade that used switchbacks straight down the canyon wall. We ate lunch at Dona Maria's in Farmington and tried to find hatch green chilies. None in Farmington so we headed up towards Cortez since I saw Walmart had them. We stopped to camp at Snowslide cg in La Plata canyon outside of Hesperus. We hear what we thought was an elk but realized it was cows.
