Day's Overview

A lovely sleep in then a nice breakfast in the gîte. It's our rest day. The gîte owner Russel let us use his washing machine. Brilliant. We did a jigsaw puzzle whilst waiting for the washing. Then into town to watch the fete of flowers parade. We thought there would be flowers everywhere but instead all the parade floats were decorated with flowers. 1000s of them! The streets were packed and we had great enjoyment from the floats. Those on the floats threw flowers at the crowds and we threw them back at the floats!

Stopped at a bar on the way back to the Gîte for a refreshing cider
