Breckenridge, CO Since we are flatlanders, the high altitude of Breckenridge is a bit challenging. To acclimate, we spent most of the day wandering through the multitude of shops on Main Street. We were also able to attend both the Sunday Market and the 16th annual Fine Arts Fair. The Sunday Market is a unique selection of artistic creations, handcrafted and homegrown items, live music, and free children’s activities courtesy of the Mountain Top Children’s Museum. The Fine Arts Fair was nationally ranked in 2016 as #65 in the top 200 fine art festivals in the United States. Besides being in a gorgeous setting, there were over 100 artists from around the country, presenting ceramics, mixed media, fiber, jewelry, painting, wood, glass, sculpture and much more.
