Sauble River Heads toward Lake Huron

River Walkway

Sauble Falls

A Touch of Rain

It's been a quiet week in Sauble Beach.

The highlight of the week was a visit to Sauble Falls Provincial Park. The park is within five miles of Woodland Park, so it was a short drive to get there. We parked in the pay parking lot and made the short walk to the falls.

Although the falls are more like a rapids than a falls, they were still an attractive sight. We toured the paved paths around the falls and viewed the river as it headed toward Lake Huron.

The rest of the week has been restful with Sue making frequent visits to the beach. Tomorrow we head back into the United States to Lighthouse County Park near Port Hope, MI.
