Not since the time of living in the UAE do I remember being hit so intensely with that wall of hot air as you disembarked the aircraft. Salvador is going to be hot!
4 days in a lovely Pousada just on the edge of the old town, electing to take a taxi even though I should be awake after almost 10 hours sleep on the flight by body still feels sluggish - a feeling for a few days I have to get used too.
