Monica and Nick's World Adventure travel blog

The Nelson area is one of the top destinations for travellers to NZ. It boasts an equitable climate, top beachesand some of the most popular national parks including Abel Tasman. Nelson town is famous for its arts and crafts.

We decided to treat ourselves and found a motel with a spa bath to massage our aching muscles ! After a long bath each we found the local pub for some nice food but we were too tired to drink so returned home to bed !

We had a look around town and visited the local flea market and some art and craft shops. We went over to the WOW museum (world of wearable arts) where they display all the costumes from the annual competition held in NZ. There were some amazing outfits and bras ! We also saw a video of the competition and it looked amazing ! They also had a selection of classic cars including a range of Ferraris and motorbikes.

In the evening we enjoyed our spa bath and relaxed in our big king size bed !
