Marilyn & I were happy to have a chance to share our morning coffee outdoors this morning. The weather was great, cool with low humidity, and it was a fine morning to be out and about.
Once the coffee was finished off, I carried a bag of trash to the dumpster. Along the way, I met Mike, one of my cousins who visited Hannibal to attend the Fry Family reunion.
Mike and I chatted together for a while. He and Rose were leaving today and we hated to see them go. They are very nice folks, as are all of my relatives. OK, I may be a bit biased there but it is true.
I had promised to take Marilyn out for breakfast so we drove to one of our favorite restaurants. Breakfast was fine and following that tasty meal we drove to the grocery store to pick up a few supplies. I purchased a whole, boneless pork loin and marinated it in root beer. Tomorrow I plan to cook it on the grill and add BBQ sauce with an added small amount of root beer. I’ll let you know how it tastes because I have never done this before.
In the afternoon, I worked on book number three of my RV living series, while Marilyn cleaned and did laundry before taking her book outdoors to read.
A very brief rain shower drove Marilyn inside where she spent some time working on jigsaw puzzles.
After taking our showers, we enjoyed a nice dinner together, and called it a day.
