The submarine was another very interesting tour at Portsmouth naval museum

they've done an absolutely fantastic job, and the tours are run by volunteers- ex navy, so they know what they're talking about.

The Isle of Wight ferry departs from nearby quite frequently

We would have gone across on it today if we hadn't gone back to the museum. We don't have enough time to go now as we fly out on Wednesday. My how time flies when you're having fun!

We're now at Eastbourne for the night - the sand is a tad course here

We walked along the sea front to the pier in the rain

As we were walking around town looking for somewhere to eat we noticed that the milk man still does his rounds here
