Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

I had no tours scheduled today. We took our coffee outdoors but returned indoors to get ready for my appointment with the doctor.

Marilyn joined me as we drove to the hospital and waited a fairly short time before being called in to chat with the doctor. He is a very personable man and we chatted for some time about the RV life. The doctor and his wife are looking at RVs as they plan their future together once he retires. It was a pleasure to chat with him about the motorhomes and fifth wheel options he might consider.

When it came time to be serious, the discussion became more focused and I am now scheduled for a CT scan next Wednesday morning and a Biopsy on Wednesday afternoon. Depending on the results of those tests, we may or may not have more to consider before we leave for the summer in Colorado.

Our agenda is certainly a full one while we are here. An example is the next few days. Tomorrow I have a tour of Cameron Cave, Friday I have two tours of Mark Twain Cave and then we will pick up the grandkids from school and they will spend the night with us, as well as Saturday. Sunday we’ll attend Mass and then join friends John & Julie at the Mansion for drinks and dinner and a great visit with these good friends.

That is the way it goes as we enjoy our time here among family and friends.

I’ll keep you all in the loop if possible as our time here moves along. I hope all of you dear readers are enjoying your time as summer approaches. After all, as you well know by now, Life is Good!
