Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We faced a busy day today so we finished our coffee early and were ready when Richard and his helpers arrived about 7:45 this morning.

They began the task of washing and waxing the RV and the truck, hoping to finish ahead of the 100 degree plus temperatures forecast for today.

I worked inside on the piled up paperwork and then filed the important papers in the fireproof safe in the basement storage area. I also checked the program for the irrigation system, paid the credit card bill on-line, and moved the final items from the coach house to the RV for travel. I also replaced several broken door latches with new ones.

We really do have things ready for the road except that tomorrow I will add water to the batteries if required and that is the final little chore before we leave on Sunday morning.

Marilyn fixed a meatloaf and served it with mashed potatoes and some veggies.

Friends, Steve & Kathy stopped long enough to share hugs and then headed for home way up north. We also said so long to Jim & Kellie as they will be on the road tomorrow.

Joe from Greenfield Communication came by to pick up the receiver box for DISH TV and the modem for the Wi-Fi service. Now we are using the resort Wi-Fi and watching TV off the roof antenna.

Later, I installed some Security software on the computer and on the two smart phones.

Tomorrow we’re going to pick up Mike & Marian and go to breakfast together.

Life is Good!
