Portugal, Spain and Morocco 2017 travel blog

Tuesday 25th April 2017 Granada to Malaga

Such an easy start and trip until...... we hit Malaga. Road works the gps could not cope with, driver not following navigator directions, yes again finding one way street, this time with a car coming at us! Round and round we went. Arrived 1 1/2 hours later than anticipated and a little frustrated. Can't imagine doing this without a gps (or a very patient wife). Malaga is so different to other tourist cities we have been in. It is also a working port. There are many restaurants, huge ships, lots of hotels, great places to walk and lots to see. Saw the Picasso museum. A lot of 'uncompromising creative freedom'. Hmmmmmm. Again an audio guide put us in the picture (pun) and to some extent I appreciated his art. Ended the day with dinner by ourselves in a wonderful restauranta. We started at 7:30 which is about an hour before any self respecting Spaniard is eating. They start siesta around 2 pm, finish arvo tea about 5pm so no wonder they are not hungry. We will stick to our times. Still finding uploading photos a drag so words again. Thanks for reading - both of you :).
