Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

It sure felt nice to have the door and windows open today. It was a beautiful day but much cooler thanks to the cold front which moved through during the night bringing wind from the north and a downpour of rain.

In spite of the bright sunshine the temperatures remained in the mid to upper seventy degree range all day.

Unfortunately, I have inherited the cough that Marilyn had for the last ten days or so, and my throat is a bit raw from coughing. I am taking meds but don’t feel like getting any work done outdoors today. I have high hopes that I will be well tomorrow and will get the RV and Truck ready for the road.

A knock on the door surprised us and we were even more surprised to see Steve & Kathy who were parked beside us for a while. They have been up north and now have returned for a few days. Because Marilyn & I are both a bit under the weather and have no desire to share this coughing with any of our friends, we only spoke to Steve & Kathy through the screen. Maybe we can see them tomorrow.

Marilyn sat with her cross-stitch project while I kept up with the St Louis Cardinals as they battled Milwaukee. Other than that we didn’t accomplish a single thing all day.

It was one of those “do nothing” days. No matter because we do know that Life is Good!
