When I logged on to my computer this morning, I was greeted with a pleasant surprise. I had an e-mail informing me that my short story (Titled “A Bad Day in the Cockpit”) about recurrent training in the Citation I Jet had been published by “Air Facts Journal”, an on-line magazine for pilots.
I consider that an honor and will probably submit additional stories for them.
Marilyn & I went for a walk this morning, trying to get that done before it became too hot out there.
I returned before Marilyn, as she walks a greater distance than I walk.
When I returned to the RV, I started working on my next book project and now have completed six chapters.
Marilyn fixed a nice lunch of salmon patties with veggies as a side dish. After lunch I had returned to my book project when we heard some loud pounding. I went outdoors and found my neighbor, Tom, working on the suspension system under his RV. I ended up loaning him a couple of mallets which helped him to complete the job.
Marilyn spent much of her time reading while I worked on my next book.
It was basically a very quiet day for us so all I can say is that Life is Good!
