Saturday Feb 4, 2017 Puerto Vallarta & Food Tour

We love food tours when we visit cities around the world. We booked a Vallarta Old Town food and cultural walking ten-stop, recommended on Trip Advisor for the late morning. Our guide, Manuel, met us at the Lazaro Park Gazebo and our group of six went off to sample tacos, tortillas, chocolate, coconut milk, candy, and mole with tequila. Each location was selected for its authenticity. The street vendors are licensed and there are no more licenses being issued. So, the current ones are passed down from generation to generation. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

That night back at the ship we dressed in white for the traditional “White Night” celebration found on Azamara cruises. Later there was a fireworks display in the town.
