The drive to Alaska was an adventure in itself. We first stopped in Casper,Wyoming, which helped us rest a little, since we were tired from driving to Eastern Nebraska, a couple days before leaving. That was our pre-trip! We were headed towards Glacier National Park but ended up arriving in the night, so we pushed through to the border. Arriving at the border, was like being in the principals office in school. They asked you every question possible and after about an hour of interrogation, we were set free. Our next stop was St Eugenes Resort i found on hot wire after we crossed the border. It was quite nice. very dog friendly and was like a resort in the middle of the mountain. From there, we moved on to Revelstoke , BC, where we met a cool guy, named Chris, at Big Eddys Bar and Grill. We met him to go riding but the fog was terrible so we pretty much just rode the trail up to a cool cabin and back . Hopefully, we will have better luck in the spring. Trekking along through Fort St John. Just stayed over night there as we were headed to Liard River Hot Springs. This place was amazing. A little lagoon like pond formed around a natural hot spring out in the middle of amazing mountains. My phone died so i did not get to take many pictures of this beautiful place.

Continuing on through the night, we saw the northern lights. At first, we did not know what was happening and then it was like being in a twilight zone. I let the lights lead me to Whitehorse, Yukon where we arrived in the walmart parking lot at 4am and slept for a few hours. When we woke at 7am we started to have trouble with the truck. So after spending the whole day at the dodge dealership we finally let with a seized torque converter and continued another 15hrs to Eagle River. It was about 6am when we pulled in and were happy to be here. Well that was until re realized we were in the wrong steep driveway on the side of the mountain. Needless to say we got to sleep about 2pm that afternoon. Anyway we are safe and sound. We are working to get the truck fixed. Everyone we met so far has been very nice.
