We awoke to the faint sounds of people talking downstairs.
By the time I had taken my shower and dressed, everyone was up and the coffee was ready.
We chatted as we sipped our coffee and then went out for breakfast at a tiny but very well-known place called “Frankie’s”. This place seem to be packed from the time it opens until the close and it has only four or five tables so there is nearly always a line of people waiting to get in.
We were concerned because we were a party of five, but two very nice folks named Mark and Mary made room for all five of us at their table. We enjoyed visiting with these nice folks who began the life of full-time RV’ers last May. Mark is from New Zealand and was interesting to chat with.
After a very delicious breakfast we didn’t linger because the line of people waiting for a table made that the right thing to do. LOL
Don drove out to the beach where we watched a highly skilled wind surfer. That was fun to watch.
When we arrived back at the house it seemed that a rousing game of Mexican Train was at the top of our agenda. Sherry managed to convincingly trounce the rest of us but it was all fun.
With the game only a memory, the ladies began putting together a great table full of assorted snacks for a gathering to include even more of my High School classmates. The variety of food included a birthday cake for Marilyn and for Nancy who both were celebrating their birthdays today.
The others arrived at 6:00, bringing even more food and the feasting began even as we all talked at once trying to catch up on the lives of one another over the past 60 years. LOL
It must have been after 11:00 PM when we finally headed off to bed.
There was no doubt, that this had been a fine day and that Life is Good!
