Feeling Much Better
Jan 25, 2017
|Both, Marilyn & I awoke feeling almost back to normal today. We even sat outdoors to share our usual morning coffee.
I then made myself ready to take my friend, Richard, to his Rehab across town at the Hospital facility near the town of Edinburg.
After I dropped Richard off for his appointment, I headed for the HEB store to pick up a few items we needed. Knowing that Jane, Richard’s wife, was picking up Richard after his Rehab time, I headed home with the groceries.
Not long after I arrived back at the RV, the Fed Ex truck drove up and delivered my new phone. That was my signal to head off to the Verizon store and by the time I arrived back at home, I had a working phone again.
I still had to work with my phone a bit to re-install several programs like Pandora, Kindle, Facebook, and Weather Bug.
Later in the afternoon, Marilyn & I sat together on the patio with a cold drink. Jane walked over to chat for a while and ended up looking at our collection of DVD movies. We loaned her the DVD “Second Hand Lions” which is one of our favorite movies. Jane & Richard are watching that movie tonight.
Our daughter called and we enjoyed another video chat with her and our granddaughter, Lauren.
Marilyn fixed salmon patties and a great salad with bleu cheese crumbles. That was just perfect.
Now we are settled in for the evening. We’re watching TV with the “Vikings” and then “Six” on the History Channel before heading off to bed.
Oh my, Life is Good!
