Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Today was just the opposite of yesterday when we were so busy. Today we did very little. A few chores, several conversations with friends, some time on the computer, and relaxing with our books took up most of our time.

Marilyn & I gave our Granddaughter, Lauren, one of those Fitbit things which tracks your steps, and now Marilyn and Lauren are in a sort of competition which demands a phone call each day to discuss how many steps the other managed to walk that day. Marilyn is now inspired and went for a walk of nearly two miles today. LOL

Marilyn & I talked quietly this morning, recalling memories of our daughter, Kelly. We then decided to say Happy Birthday in a prayer and have an enjoyable day.

We made some plans to go to Mexico on Wednesday and again on Saturday. That is always fun and we are looking forward to it.

We have noticed lots of RV’s arriving in our resort as well as the resort next door, which we see through the chain-link fence separating the properties.

Marilyn fixed fish for a late lunch today, using lemon oil and butter, and then sprinkled my portion with blackened seasoning. We added the left-over potato casserole from yesterday and also ate left-over pecan pie and peach cobbler for dessert.

Life is Good!
