We got up and drove about 2 hrs and checked in at Kings Acres RV park for $42, and the internet crashed on the second day! The condition of this park has gone down hill, due to poor onsite manager, and with too many construction workers, who work on the hwy construction. There is 2 channels on TV antenna.

Sept 21, Wednesdays

We drove to town and went to the Roughrider store, spent a few dollars there.

We checked out the parking for the game, and we are definitely taking the FREE city bus.

WE went to the RCMP Heritage Center & museum and Depot. What a beautiful blue clear sky today, until it clouded over. The front desk girls took care of Joe for us. The had a great selection of goods to purchase in the gift shop.

This was one of my highlights, I have always taken pride with the RCMP, my Uncle served a lifetime in the force, and my older cousin was also on special assignments. After touring the museum and displays, they gave me more pride as a Canadian. This should be one of the places that every Canadian should go! Even foreign visitors would find this amazing.

Sept 22, Thursday

The provincial parliament buildings were built in 1908.

Before our tour we walked 4 km around Wascana lake, which killed an hour. Such a georgeous area, with lots of lunch time walkers. We had a small group on the tour.

We did some routine shopping and laundry, etc.

I went to the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society for the afternoon, This is sure a great resource, I found out lots of new family members. Meanwhile Pat was at the motorhome. So far its been rainy all week, hope it clears for the game..

We went out to the The Canadian Brewhouse for dinner.

Sept 24 - Saturday - Game day

Got up and its still raining.

At kick off, its still rainy, but what a great view and awesome entertainment.

About half time it had stopped raining.

We walked back to the inaugural Free bus rides, and no one really knew how many there may be, but the rides went off with out a hitch. Its a good thing as there is virtually no parking.

The game & the whole experience was not disappointing!
