Got some snow overnight

Headed towards the south end of Kluane Lake

Looks like a storm brewing out in the lake

Plenty of snow on the road.

Crossing the bridge near Teslin

4-16-16 Beaver Creek to Watson Lake.

Left Beaver Creek in the dark at 6:30AM. Snowed overnight, more than the dusting I hoped for. I was the only vehicle this morning out of Beaver Creek so there were no tracks to follow on the highway. I had to blaze some trails. Later in the day I saw plows and sand trucks. The roads were pretty slick in spots. I broke traction on a few hills in 2WD. Shifted into 4WD to solve the traction problem. Glad I wasn’t driving the Toyota or Winnebago in this weather.

Because of the weather and road conditions, leisurely sight seeing was not in the cards. Saw no animals.

Stopped for the day in Watson Lake exhausted from 12 hours of white knuckle driving.

Drove 549 miles in 11 hours 20 mins.
