After a very cold, but quiet night (no traffic noise), we woke up to a lovely sunny morning. We took the dogs for a bit of a walk after breakfast but were just about carried away by midgies. So, as pretty as the place was, there was definitely no chance of staying an extra day so we were on the road to Busselton by about 9am.
We hadn't quite decided whether we were going to stay in Busselton or not - main aim was to have a look at the jetty which is supposedly the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. Anyway, once at the jetty, we quite liked the look of the place and have booked into a caravan park right across the road from the jetty for a couple of nights and will do the tour of the jetty tomorrow.
Ian got talking to the people running the caravan park about fishing of the jetty and long story short, he went fishing with them tonight and came home at about 7.30pm with 12 herring!! Looks like fish for dinner tomorrow night!
