Chilly Day, Football, & Gymnastics
Sep 28, 2016
|We actually turned the furnace on this morning in an attempt to take the chill off. After one cycle of the furnace though, we turned it off and simply used the fireplace to keep things comfortable.
We shared a pot of coffee and then started on the day.
I took my computer up to the office to use the internet and get the blog posted for yesterday.
Shortly after that, the regular Wi-Fi began working normally here in the Campground.
Marilyn started a load of laundry and then left for a walk while I went to work at the Cave, leading a tour group consisting of five nice people from different parts of the country.
By the time I returned to the RV Marilyn had finished cleaning her car on the inside.
I changed into a comfortable pair of old jeans and a sweatshirt and felt properly dressed to accompany my Grandson, Colby, to his football practice.
Marilyn was going to the gymnastics class with Jennifer and Lauren while I was staying at football practice with Colby.
Marilyn & I drove to Palmyra where we met Jennifer and the Grandkids. Jennifer, Marilyn, and Lauren then left to drive to Hannibal for Lauren’s class while I watched Football Practice.
Colby’s 3rd & 4th grade team scrimmaged against the 5th and 6th grade team, which was considerably bigger, as you might expect.
That was good practice because they will play much larger schools on each of the next two Saturdays.
We’ll be here for those two games for sure.
Marilyn & I were back home in time to watch the last half of “Survivor” and then “Criminal Minds”.
