We came across these two unusual signs during this leg of our travels.
Everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-the-trail-but-were-afraid-to-ask. We came across this trail marker at the start of a very short walk to an overlook at Cathedral Gorge. Geez, the trail is only half-mile long. I could walk the trail out and back by the time I finish reading the stats on this trail. Can you say “overkill?”
Is this water drinkable? Normally, at RV dump stations, if the water is not drinkable the sign will read “non-potable” or sometimes “Do not drink.” So we had a good chuckle when we saw this sign that read “Not for culinary use.” I thought that using the word culinary was a big unusual. When I mentioned to the clerk in the RV store whether people would know the definition of culinary, she just laughed. She said folks come in all the time and ask “Is this water drinkable?”
