Elegant dinners!

" rural manor house"

The days begin to merge, a routine emerges: hobble from bed to medicine bag, do some quick stretches, pack for the day, bandage feet, set luggage outside for next transfer, rush to breakfast & hope you consume enough coffee quickly to decipher the local " delicacies" arrayed before time to load bus to be taken back to the point on the Camino where you left off yesterday....

Concern yourself greatly with:

Where are the checkpoints, have I consumed enough water & protein to make it to next checkpoint, have I consumed too much water & coffee to make it to the next " water closet", are my feet staying dry, should I change socks at the risk of making toes worse, why does the light in the bathroom go off in less than 4 seconds ( who can finish in 4 seconds???) wave hands wildly and repetively to get bathroom light back on, drink water, how far to next bathroom..... Will it rain as soon as I take off rain gear....

I officially join the fraternity of pelegrinos ( pilgrims) taking to the bushes.... Thought I found a good spot off the track & my walking companion keeping guard, but discovered definite biological evidence of prior human contact ......

keep walking.....

Later- another gorgeous Galithian rural manor house and gourmet dinner, with wine by the fire....
