Making our way uphill

Over 300 steps to climb

Well worth the view!

Little Presque Isle

Where we stopped for lunch

Crazy iron sculptures at Lakenenland

Tues., Aug. 9th – Today was a laundry, Walmart, RV and truck repairs day.

Wed., Aug. 10th – The morning was overcast, but we made our way up Sugarloaf Mt. It’s a very long uphill combination of wooden steps and a well traveled dirt path. Despite the gray skies, the 360* views from the summit were spectacular. We drove down the road to Little Presque Isle where we hiked in to the water’s edge for lunch. Our day of exploring then took us to Lakenenland…a drive along a dirt road lined with a wild assortment of unusual metal sculptures. We ended our day with dinner at Hudson’s, a neat all American local’s place.
