2016 Colorado and New England RV Trip travel blog

August 3

This morning we went to a reconstructed cliff dwelling in Manitou Springs. In the early 1900s the town went to the Mesa Verde area and removed some cliff dwelling blocks, moved them to the Manitou Springs area and reconstructed the dwelling. We also went to Miramont Castle, the restored victorian home of a clergyman and his wife. In the afternoon I went to Seven Falls. They are a series of 7 cascading waterfalls in a canyon with 1400 foot walls. It was a nice walk to the falls through the canyon.

Tomorrow is our last day in Colorado Springs. Looks like a Walmart run is in order and maybe a return visit to the Garden of the Gods.
